A spokesperson from Dyfed Powys Police revealed that the raid was conducted as part of Operation Scotney, a comprehensive initiative aimed at combating the rise of cannabis cultivation in vacant town center buildings. The ongoing operation has been instrumental in uncovering illegal drug activities.

The Dyfed Powys Police spokesperson stated, "Officers have carried out a warrant at Clifton Terrace today as part of Op Scotney. One man has been arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and is currently in custody."

Operation Scotney has led to substantial seizures of drugs, totaling over £12 million in value. The operation has spanned more than 30 raids across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Powys, marking it as the force's most extensive and successful drug operation to date.
