Hosted as part of the One Planet Generation project, the event will be facilitating a series of events over February half-term to raise awareness around the environmental impact of fast and “throw away” fashion and encourage more sustainable fashion choices.

A Community Clothes Swap is being held on Saturday 18th February and will be a great chance to swap out your old wardrobe for something new, without the ecological footprint or price tag of brand-new clothes!

Members of the community are encouraged to donate clean clothes, that are in good condition in exchange for tokens which can be swapped for clothes.

People are advised to bring donations from 11am, and swapping starts at 12pm. From 2pm-3pm, no tokens are required, and everything must go!

The One Planet Generation project is led by Open Newtown and supported by the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government until June 2023.
