Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision. However, the road had to be partially closed to allow for the recovery of the vehicles involved in the accident.

Dyfed-Powys Police swiftly responded to the scene, ensuring that the necessary measures were taken to manage the situation effectively. The road closure caused some delays for commuters, but the area has since been re-opened for normal traffic flow.

In a statement regarding the incident, a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said:

"Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A489 near Penstrowed at around 7.30am today (January 24). No injuries were reported and the road was partially closed for recovery of vehicles which was completed by 8.45am."
