Residents and visitors to Newtown are advised about an upcoming road closure that will affect travel in the area.

The B4800, which serves as a main link from the Newtown bypass to Dolfor Road, is set to undergo resurfacing works.

The closure is scheduled to begin on the 23rd of July 2024 at 8pm and will last until the 25th of July 2024 at 6am.

The resurfacing of the carriageway will be undertaken by Alun Griffiths Contractors.

During the road closure, emergency vehicle access will be maintained, ensuring that essential services can operate without hindrance. Additionally, property access will also be maintained to minimize disruption for residents in the vicinity.
