The inaugural event was hailed as a resounding success, with participants praising the well-organized race and favorable weather conditions.

The Newtown 10K run, organized by Adrenaline Sporting Events, saw an impressive turnout as hundreds of runners gathered at Hafan Yr Afon in Back Lane.

    Participants were glowing in their reviews of the Newtown 10K run, emphasizing the enjoyable experience and the exceptional support they received throughout the race. Andrea, one of the participants, expressed her satisfaction with the event, stating, "I enjoyed the whole experience - great route, fabulous support around the route, and all the marshals/volunteers were really friendly and supportive. Good that there was free parking for the event."

    Mags, another participant, described the race as "absolutely fantastic" and praised the organizers for their excellent care of the runners. She declared the Newtown 10K as a new favorite among running events.

    Colin, who participated in the race, highlighted the remarkable organization, saying, "This was probably the smoothest organized event I have done. I was walking back to my car and got a text with the official time. Usually, hours later, I am searching online for results. Well done!"

Rob Samuel emerged as the winner, representing Eryri Harriers, with an impressive time of 30 minutes and 57 seconds. Connor Rogers secured the second position with a time of 32 minutes and 29 seconds, while Daniel Husbands came in third, completing the race in 33 minutes and 41 seconds.

    The Newtown 10K run provided a platform for runners of all abilities to showcase their skills and enjoy a well-organized event.

    The positive reviews from participants highlight the success of the race and the positive impact it had on the town.

    With its flat and fast course, combined with the warm support from the local community, the Newtown 10K run has undoubtedly established itself as a must-attend event for running enthusiasts.
