The upcoming forecast in Newtown (02/05/24)

As the Met Office forecast predicts heavy, thundery rain for Newtown today, residents are preparing for a wet and gloomy day ahead.

Cloud coverage is expected to become extensive, with mist and murk rolling in for most by dawn.

The minimum temperature tonight is forecasted to be 7 °C. Looking ahead to tomorrow, residents can expect another overcast day with more spells of rain and drizzle, slowly easing throughout the day.

There is a chance that the weather may become brighter across South Powys later in the day, with a maximum temperature of 16 °C.
