A young persons market could be held in Newtown in August

A verbal report to the Newtown Town Council Services Committee, which meets next Monday, raises the idea of a young traders market being held in Newtown in August as part of plans to revitalise the market.

This follows plans backed by Welshpool Town Council to host their own young traders market in July as part of a nationwide campaign to encourage 16 to 30-year-olds to sell their ideas on retail markets.
