The assistance required will be during specific timings: around 10am to 12.15pm on Sunday 10th November 2024 and approximately 10.55am to 11.15am on Monday 11th November 2024, ensuring the smooth running of the events.

Ed Humphreys, Town Clerk, said:

“We are looking for volunteer stewards to assist with the road closure for Remembrance Sunday 10th November and Armistice Day 11th November without whom closures may not be permitted."

"If you feel you'd like to contribute in this way to the community's collective effort on those days, please get in touch with the town council”.

If you are interested in volunteering for this important initiative, please contact townclerk@newtown.org.uk for further details and to sign up.
