In a social media post, cafe owner Tina Lovett expressed her gratitude for the years of support and explained the difficult decision to make this change.
Tina shared that this decision was not made lightly and was the result of over two years of relentless effort from herself and her staff. Despite trying out various chefs, they were unable to find one that aligned with their business needs without compromising on food quality.
She also highlighted the nationwide decline in interest in catering, along with the economic downturn and skyrocketing energy bills and stock prices, making it increasingly challenging for businesses in the hospitality trade.
Many other business owners in the area will likely relate to the difficulties faced by Parkers Cafe.
However, Tina assured loyal customers that this is not the end for Parkers Cafe. Instead, it signifies a new direction for the establishment.
