A total of 298 participants took part in the Newtown parkruns this week. Among them, several individuals achieved new personal bests and notable milestones.

Finlay Cullen led the way, finishing in first place with an impressive time of 16:49 and achieving a new personal best. Aled Breeze followed closely behind with a time of 17:44, also setting a personal best record. Additionally, Harry Woodhouse made a remarkable achievement by securing a new PB with a time of 18:04.

Noteworthy first-time runners included Ian Harrison, who completed his first parkrun with a time of 18:47, and Toby Harrison with a time of 19:03. Other participants who showed remarkable performances included Gwern Ap Rhobat with a personal best time of 19:20 and Harry Barrett achieving a new PB of 19:38.

The Hafan yr Afon junior parkrun also had outstanding performances this week, with young participants showcasing their running talent. Tommy P finished first with a time of 07:49, while Teddy L and Macsen J followed closely behind with new personal bests of 07:53 and 08:15, respectively.

Special mention goes to Ffion J, the first-time female participant, who completed the course in 09:03. It was an inspiring showing of determination and enthusiasm from the junior runners.
